Dzongkha, being the official language of Bhutan, holds significant cultural and linguistic value. However, the development of NLP technologies for Dzongkha has been limited. Our web application aims to bridge this gap by leveraging advanced NLP techniques and machine learning to enable better communication, accessibility, and understanding of the Dzongkha language.
Dzongkha Translation
Dzongkha Neural Machine Translation facilitates the translation of text between Dzongkha and English. With a focus on Dzongkha-to-English translation, this application aims to break down language barriers and foster cross-cultural understanding. Users can easily translate written content, facilitating communication, language learning, and cultural exchange.
Dzongkha ASR
Automatic Speech Recognition enables the conversion of spoken words in Dzongkha into written text. By leveraging advanced ASR technology, this application can transcribe spoken content accurately and efficiently. This functionality opens up possibilities for transcription services, voice commands, and voice-controlled interfaces in Dzongkha.
Dzongkha Text-To-Speech
Text-to-Speech allows users to convert written text into natural-sounding spoken words in Dzongkha.This application provides an immersive audio experience, enabling users to listen to written content or assist visually impaired individuals in accessing information.
Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development (DCDD)
We are proud to collaborate with the Department of Culture and Dzongkha Development (DCDD) in this project. This collaboration ensures that our web application aligns with the goals and needs of promoting Dzongkha language and culture. We work closely with experts from DCDD, sharing resources, expertise, and feedback to create a more impactful and relevant application.
